People to People Jan-Feb 2010
In our fervor to touch the world with the gospel and to work for the improvement of the saints, we’re inspired by the vision God has for the world in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19–20)—his vision for the daily life of all people and for the lives of Christians in particular.
In the pursuit of our goals, which include bringing unbelievers to Christ, helping Christians live lives of holiness and unity, and opening churches, we have already produced two programs: Tribune Jeunes (Young People’s Forum) and Les Sentiers de la Vie (The Ways of Life). The broadcast of the first episodes of Tribune Jeunes, which featured several young people and their conversion stories, drew quite a reaction.
My technician and I have already received encouraging calls. One young person said their faith was strengthened by the program. Two others want to participate in future episodes. Another wants the Church of God to come plant churches in Dabou, a city in the southern part of Côte d’Ivoire. In the north, a radio station is ready to broadcast our programs in Sinématiali, where there is not yet any Church of God.
The next episodes of Tribune Jeunes, which address the importance of the engagement in the marriage of the young Christian, will be aired beginning in January 2010. In all ways, God is at work and we are counting on your prayers so that this will continue.
To him alone be the glory forever and ever through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen!
